Good news

The lab results are in, and I don't have preeclampsia! The nurse said that my protein levels were around 250, and they don't start worrying until levels hit the 500 range. Whew!

As for the contractions, they seem to have quieted down. I had only one during my monitoring session this morning, but I did feel several throughout the day. Fortunately, the contractions do not hurt; it just feels like my belly is tightening up and shrinking in on itself for about a minute or so—a very odd sensation, indeed. We'll see how I do over the weekend.

In any case, thanks for all your words of encouragement, as well as your continued prayers for me, the babies, and Ted. They really do make a difference!

So glad to hear that! I just took a moment before logging on here to say a prayer and I was so happy to see a "Good News" headline. :-) We'll continue to pray for all of you during the coming months and trust that God will protect you and the babies every step of the way.

Keep hanging in there, Suzy. You're doing great so far. A little Procardia is no big deal, and hopefully it will really do its job.

We have you and Ted and the foursome in our prayers.

Sending strength and stamina your way,

Christy

Great news, Suzy. Of course it's a bummer to be on drugs, but it's wonderful that your body seems to be responding to them. Hang in there and keep resting & drinking lots of water!

Hey. I'm glad you posted your link on Facebook. I was hoping to see an update on the babies! Glad for the good news! (Has Mom told you I was a preemie? Of course I was a single one.) Anyway, I'm praying for you.
