"Let's burp! Put on your red shoes and burp the blues" (to the tune of "Let's Dance" by David Bowie) or "Gimme a burp!" (said like Janet Jackson says, "Gimme a beat!" in "Nasty") when the babies were hard to burp ...

Too funny. We had one to the tune of "Dancing Queen"
You can cry, you can whine -
You'll just move up you bedtime!
Oooh, see those girls make a scene,
they are the drama queens!
Sometimes you must do something to amuse yourself or you'll lose your mind.
BTW, there was much hilarity in our house over the fridge-opening video. One of these days we really must get these kids together. Especially Julia. She is totally obsessed with babies these days and would hardly be able to contain herself.
Those are all way better than my Macaroni & Cheese song sung to the tune of "It Had to Be You."
I have been humming "Drama Queens" and "Macaroni and Cheese" ever since I read these comments. :)
Christine, maybe this summer we can go to a park or something together!
Too funny! I do this all the time too. I still often use the "Here I come baby. Comin' to getcha!" I'm constantly putting the babies' names into songs. It's nice having a Drew- rhymes w/ you which is in almost every song. He will grow up surprised that most songs do not actually contain his name. LOL.
If we don't entertain ourselves, who will?
Love it!!! So funny!
That is HILARIOUS!! I love it!! Hahaha!! :o) I do "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Frankie Valli!! Lila laughs hysterically...must be momma's beautiful voice! :o)
