The kids are working on learning their body parts. All four of them know where their eyes and nose are, and Jude and Lucy can also point to their tummy, mouth, ears, and hair. Lucy is the only one who can show you her feet, which she loves to adorn with links.
This evening I caught the girls investigating yet another part of their anatomy—and a very cute part it is!
That is SO cute! My girls love to point out their belly buttons too. It's so funny to watch them try to find it when their little bellies stick out so much!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!!!! My kids love their belly buttons. The problem is they want to pull up my shirt and play with mine too. They don't understand that Mommy doesn't always want her shirt pulled up and her belly shown off. Round bellies stop being cute after the toddler stage.
ReplyDeleteBeth, I get that a lot, too. They seem a little icked out by the squishiness of my tummy compared to theirs, though, ha!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. When we ask Lila where nose is??? She picks it! Not sure how to break this habit, ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteCute. Do you have the Belly Button Book by Sandra Boynton? :) It's a good one! (I love her books!)
ReplyDeleteWe do have it, but the last time I brought it out (months ago), the kids were not interested in it. I will have to see if they like it now ... thanks for the reminder!
