The girls got a makeover of sorts this morning when I decided that their hair is finally long enough to put in pigtails. I need to work on my technique (perfectionist mom + squirmy girls = way too much time spent fixing hair), but I thought their hair still turned out pretty cute. Check out how adorable they looked sharing their snacks this afternoon:
I am happy to report that we also made progress on Isaac's new look today: This morning one of my mom's brothers—the one who just happens to be in the eye business—stopped by to help us pick out some frames from the comfort of our own home. What a lifesaver! Here's a sneak peek at what our blue-eyed boy will look like once his lenses are ready:
Thanks for hooking us up, Uncle P!
Awwww...I love the pigtails on the girls! It's a good thing I didn't end up with girls cuz I just wouldn't have the patience to do hair!! And, I, of course, looooove Isaac's new look! Besitos to all four!
ReplyDeleteThe girls seem to love their pigtails! And I'm a big fan of Isaac's glasses. He looks like a little Ted!
ReplyDeleteI love the pigtails on the girls too!! So adorable! Isaac looks very handsome with his new glasses! Very sophisticated!! :o)
ReplyDeleteThe girls are simply adorable in their new pigtails! And they are so sweet to each other. It just makes my heart melt! Isaac looks so grown up with his glasses! What a handsome boy!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet. Dustin had glasses as a two-year-old, and when I see those pics of him, it seems totally natural; as long as I've loved him he's worn glasses. I think it makes Isaac look distinguished!
ReplyDeleteIsaac looks handsome, they are all so precious. The pigtails are adorable. I love the video ~ how Dalia opens her mouth when she feeds Lucy! Precious!
ReplyDeleteJodi, I hadn't even noticed that! :) My cousin actually used to laugh at me when the kids were still on purees b/c she said I would open my mouth every time I wanted them to take a bite. Like mother, like daughter, I guess! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are so precious and so big!! LOVE the video!
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome that you got to pick out frames from your home. It's nice to have connections! Good luck with the glasses... our biggest issue has been broken nose pieces so I finally switched Roo from wire frames to plastic. No more problems!
ReplyDeleteQuadmama, these have a special molded "unifit" nosepiece rather than a nosepiece on each side ... we're told these will work out better for a toddler. Keeping my fingers crossed b/c I prefer the way the wire frames looked on him! :)
ReplyDeleteThe girls look so cute! I'm jealous of their little pig tails that lay so nicely - my poor girls have stick straight hair, and their pig tails stick STRAIGHT out to the sides! Isaac looks so grown up in his glasses! I love it!
ReplyDeleteCan we say ADORABLE?? So sweet. I love the phase when toddlers are talking, putting sentences together, and forming new words and the way a Mama (and Daddy) are the ones who can translate and fully understand. I had glasses when I was very young too. I had eye surgery to correct crossed eyes and had glasses to strengthen the weak muscle. I can sympathize with Isaac! He looks so sweet in his glasses. Now he'll look like Daddy!
